slackin.

mmm, yeah so i've been slackin slightly. mostly just because i want to lay around and just be. i said in my last post that i was going to post up my quick comps..they suck, so I'll show the better of the three - I really dislike people who don't know what they truly want, i guess thats why i minored in marketing because I need to be able to sell my ideas.

It has potential- def need to work on it some more though.

On a new note. I taught my grandma the basics of how to use a computer & the internet the other day...a good deed done, she showered me with jewelry & stuff- I came up on some nice things. I should be a lot more kinder to her often hahahaha.
<3 my granny.

okay on to the real stuff. SO in my latest attempt to wear my hair more natural, minimal heat etc etc...ive been reading on how to maintain healthy natural african american hair - theres a lot of work & dedication but the results are great. & after watching Good Hair - I had this revelation! No black hair care products are owned by black people, so how could anybody who doesnt have our hair type possible know whats good for it? I told my mom how i believed that the people who produce these hair products (predominately whites and asians) are putting horrible chemicals & other ingredients in these products to make our hair fall out and thus, keep us coming back trying to find the next quick fix product. FAIL FAIL FAIL!! So i did my research and read up on a lot of toxic ingredients listed in black hair care products & how damaging they are to the hair & EVEN CANCEROUS! So i literally through out ALL those products & practically bought out Carols Daughter's whole counter @ macys (carolsdaughter.com). My grandma has been going on and on an on for months about how great it is, so i figured I'd try some more products than the ones i already have. Theyre great.

I'm a hair product junky. I also find that my natural curls are beautiful & straight hair is boring & there isnt much you can really do with it. I've been trying a few options, its so....hard though- not to straighten it :(
